Solutions were impressed with our track record in supplying staff to managed service I.T. businesses in particular. We’ve placed developers, sales people and all manner of I.T. engineers into this marvellous industry. With our in-house tech knowledge and intimate understanding of the marketplace we took the brief and began looking for their newest I.T. engineer, someone with a solid background in break fix, fault finding and who knows the difference between one of these.
The company culture was positive, affirming, laid back and upbeat; only those candidates who were both a good culture fit as well as technically able were ultimately put forward. After dozens of technical questions, interviews and networking we drew up a short list of four highly skilled candidates. Three of these candidates were interviewed. Then came the headache we intend to give all our clients; ‘Who should I employ?’ They loved all the candidates but two stood out in particular. Our client had been in the industry for decades so he knew when he came across a one-of-a-kind candidate. This time he had been introduced to two. He decided to take full advantage of the situation and employed both fantastic candidates who years later are still with the business today.
